If you are a sincere and committed youth who fulfills the below criteria, then this is the right program for you to apply to.
– You should be between the ages of 21 and 30.
– You must be from Uttarakhand.
– You must be motivated to learn new things, take lots of action and meet new people.
– You must have phone and internet access.
– Finally, you must have a business idea while applying and willing to start your own business in your hometown or village.
Once we receive your interest through the application form, you will get a phone call if you are shortlisted. We will ask you some information, and you will have to participate in a selection round before you are finally admitted into the Margshala program. The 2022 Selection list will be released before 10th January 2022.
There is no fees for participating in the Margshala program. All you have to do is apply and let us know why you want to join the program and how you think Margshala will benefit you. 50 motivated young people from Uttarakhand will be selected for the program.
In certain cases, we may be open to taking students who are living outside Uttarakhand as long as they plan to return and start their business in Uttarakhand itself.
Yes, you are eligible to apply for the Margshala program if you are residing in an Uttarakhand district currently.
The Margshala program will equip you with the skills and guidance to empower you to take the right decisions for your business venture and turn your idea into reality. If you are able to demonstrate a clear vision and take considerable action throughout the program, you may be eligible for a startup seed grant to invest in starting your business.
It is a 4-month long program which will begin in January 2022 and end in April 2022.
The first phase of the program will begin through an online medium, so you can easily attend it using a smartphone or laptop with internet network. As the situation improves, you will be invited to attend workshops and meet your mentors at a central location in Pithoragarh city.
We have currently started the program for youth who have a smartphone or laptop because the first phase is being held on an online platform which requires internet connectivity. However, if you only have a basic phone please contact us separately so we can help you figure out a solution.
Currently, we are considering youth between the age group of 21 to 30 years for this program.
Yes, you can apply for the program. There is no restriction other than age, as long as every student can commit to attend the entire duration of the program.
No, IABT will not be paying for travel and logistics to the workshop program venues. However, Margshala will bear the expenses of the stay of the youth in case of any residential workshops.
